Gpu Reviews

R9 270X, one of the most enthusiast Gpu in the R-200 series is indeed worth for a buy as it comes within a mid-range budget competing withits opponent Gtx GeForce 760 as a refreshed version of its predecessor HD 7870.Curtailing the sales of Gtx 760 to a great extent R9 270x verily proves that 1080p (HD) gaming is still possible in a mid-budget. Hence R9 270X is the Gpu I have chosen to 3aw2give a review on.
R9-270 series consists of two versions that are R9-270 andR9-270X where X represents a better performance in respect to that of 270, anew naming process by Amd to differentiate between its two models. R9-270 beingthe successor of 7850 and R9-270X being of 7870 consumes 150 watt and 180wattrespectively. Considering the price issue no distortion has been on this sector by the manufacturers.  Another excellen tfeature earned by 270 and 270x is that Nvidia doesn’t have any particular card specifically at the price scheme of 270 and 270X. Though 760 is meant to be compared to 270X but as the price range isn’t same, the comparison is quite invalid. Same goes with 270 where 660 is the so called competitor once again due to difference between pricing. However I do not persist on including the ti version of 660 and 760 in the comparison as it would make my review morecomplex fuddling the readers.
Moving to the specs of the card, 270X is developed using Pitcairn processor with a core clock speed and memory clock speed of 1050 MHz and 1400 MHz consecutively and the memory amount is 4 GB at maximum. Whereas 270 comes with the same Gpu processor but slightly varies in the Gpu clock speed which is 925MHz keeping the memory bandwidth including other significant factors same among them. And it supports up to 2 GB memory.
Conclusively for multi Gpu usage or Crossfire X plans bothof these cards will support 2 way crossfire at best where a bridge would be required too.
Diving into the card’s manufacturers, it is developed Gigabyte, Sapphire , Asus and MSI majorly with each of them initializing their varietyby applying unique cooling systems, look and and chipsets. Sapphire introduces their Vapor-X cooling system, Gigabyte with their Windforce and Asus with their Direct CU II. Price does vary with the developers.
The 4 GB edition would render better Frame rate in higher resolution while Vapor-X , Windforce and Direct CU II comes with better cooling system and stability.
